A larger remediation scheme of approximately £750K in value. Initially the site was stripped with green waste being disposed of into a waste cell. Excavation of obstructions and surplus material was undertaken with excess unsuitable material being removed from site to a licenced tip facility using Fox haulage wagons. Some of the material was washed and prepared for re use at the tip facility.
Once the remediation of the site had been fully completed we excavated the road box and provided recycled and quarried aggregates to stone up the road formation as well as the overall site ready for the following construction scheme that could now be launched form a clean mattress.
