This contract involved demolition of a number of buildings as well as an existing cooling tower base which was broken out and removed. This was particularly sensitive as we were working in close proximity to the rail line.
In addition the site was contaminated and it was necessary for us to undertake sampling and testing prior to the excavation and removal of hazardous excavated material from site. The site was then remodelled using Fox excavators and dozers to the required profiles and stoned up to the required formation with imported recycled aggregate from our transfer station.
